 KILLING DRACULA:

Comments about the chapters of Dracula's Book.

Chapter 1: "The road to Dracula's Castle"
On this chapter the story it's very simple, it tell us and let us know about the life of a lawyer who’s looking a house for Count Dracula. And there´s when the story started, on the road that Mr. Harker did to Count´s castle, in Transylvania. The story it's very enveloping since this chapter, because you can see and being expectant about what´s going on next on Mr. Harker's trip and Count Dracula’s plans, so you have to be focus and pending about the Reading.

Chapter 2: "A prisoner in the castle"
On chapter two, the story turns ten times even more enveloping than the first one, because it shows us how Mr. Harker arrived to Dracula’s castle, and how Dracula received his guest by unlocked him on his castle. Then, after days and days there, Mr. Harker started to notice some weird things on the castle and, or course, on Count Dracula. So, it is really interesting because we, as Mr. Jonathan Harker see Dracula like the vampire he is, and we started to know so many things about him and this secrets and later, it would be very helpful for Jonathan.

Chapter 3: "The vampires"
The chapter was very interesting since Mr. Harker started to discover lots of things about the castle. In this chapter he also discovered important things about who’s Dracula and that he wasn't alone, that there was more people inside. In this chapter specially, there were lots of discoveries and fears about Count Dracula´s castle and the ‘’persons’’ who lived in it. Then Mr. Harker entered to a locked room and he discovered 3 vampire woman, who tried to take advantage of him, that's when he discovered a lot more about Count Dracula.

Chapter 4: " A visit to Hythe"
This chapter began with a look of the history of Mr. Harker and Count Dracula, also it shows us how the story it’s turning bad from Mr. Harker’s friends and his own girlfriend, Mina, so she became a very important character in the history. This chapter is interesting because it shows the outcome for every character and the papers that they have and how the history evolves.

Chapter 5: "How Lucy died"

This chapter is very interesting since it's about an attack of a Vampire; in this chapter five speaks about how Lucy was dying. It is very interesting as Lucy was falling ill, and as they examined it and they were not finding badly at all in her. Also it is very interesting as Lucy was going out of its sleep bed and alone day's journey and was beginning having rare sleep. In this chapter five we can know how Lucy was attacked by a vampire who broke the windows of the quarter were found Lucy and kill her.

Chapter 6: "The beautiful lady of Hythe"

This chapter is very revealing since there are a begun by an attack a few children where the children say that mysterious woman I attack them. It is very interesting like Jonathan hacker and they go Van Helsing it is to speak about Dracula and as it is possible to kill. I liked very much this chapter since Lucy is where they realize q it is got up of its coffin. It is very interesting as they did to kill Lucy since to kill a vampire a stake fixed in the heart is needed and cut the head to them so that you do not set sail any more. I liked this chapter very much an attack one begins insinuating to Dracula also me taste as Lucy's history was developing when it turned in vampire and as it was killed so that it was not attacking any more.

CHAPTER 7: "THE HOUSE OF THE VAMPIRE"

As in this chapter of this famous story and Jonathan and Professor van after Count Dracula after jar to mine at home to protect it Jonathan and company are directed to the home of the Earl, Professor Van Helsing hypnotizes Jonathan so you can remember where the house of Count Dracula is as it had erased the memories. jonathan remember where the house is near a train station, when they reach the place it is almost evening and manage to enter the boxes and are each placed a holy bread least one after the count back and run away quickly, They manage to escape and return to mine but the count goes ahead and makes him drink his blood manage to rescue the Count quarry flees back to his home in a boat. but now mine danger and if not just to be a vampire Count mine's where ends this chapter, a very interesting chapter with action and drama now things get more interesting.

CHAPTER 8: "THE FLIGHT OF THE VAMPIRE"

This chapter is much shorter, it is one of the shortest chapters and here the four friends go to the country of Count Dracula all with the hope of saving mine. in this chapter you do not see much start making plans to kill the earl since he fled to his country by boat they take the decision to go by land to reach faster than the count and end before it reaches your castle and recovers in the end choose to go with mine and she wants to help the teacher once again mesmerize mine to know where is Dracula and the chapter ends there. Very short but interesting and almost reaches the end.

CHAPTER 9: "THE RETURN TO THE CASTLE DRACULA"

I think that this chapter it´s so much important that the other eight chapters, but I also must say that it’s the great end of the story, it’s the great way the god defeats evil. Also think that is classic romantic when they finish count Dracula and the author describes the passages through the mountains. This one was a short but “fully” and classic story about god against evil.

Short Summary About Trainspotting (movie)

Beginning the movie, start talking about a “good” and “normal” life, the movie has five principal characters, are “sick boy”, “spud”, “begbie”, “tommy” and “renton”.

The movie is based in the life into the drugs, sex and bad life, all of the characters consume drugs except “begbie”, and “tommy” (more later he will consume drugs).

“Renton” and “Sick boy” tried to forget about the drugs, but later they return to the drugs, but in a higher level, more later they knew a “guy”, who sells them a pound of coke, or “Charlie”, at the end, “Renton is sit at the living and he just grab the brick of coke and walk away, when “stick boy” wakes up he realize that his “friend” has stolen the brick and explode in rage.

Comment About Trainspotting (movie)

On the movie, how we can see, the ‘’friendship’’ it's a very important and subjective team for talk about. All people, even the ones who denied it, want, someday, find someone special who can be with us most of timeshare, support, and enjoy beauty things in life in our company. But sometimes, we don't see the right people right besides us and we put our trust, love and support in persons who doesn´t deserve it, and that's not good for us, at all. In the movie, we can see how ‘’Best Friends’’ get apart for drugs deals, problems, addiction and money, and that's the perfect example to see that we can´t go around thinking that everybody could be our truly friend, we have to be carefull with the persons we put our trust on, and who we call ‘’friends’’, because those ‘’friends’’ will hurt us if it's good for them, they would lie to us and get us in problems just for safe his own skin and that's not what we're looking in a good friend. So, we can´t follow the example of the movie, refer to the friendship, we have to wake up and think better about it before choose that person we want to be with, we don't have to follow them, or be sad because we may can´t find the person we want son, we have to be happy cause the person who will deserve it it's going to arrive soon on our lifes and with them, happiness, fun and beauty things will come, but it depends just of us, always of us and what we want for our life.

Summary of the book "The bottle imp"

Keawe, a poor Native Hawaiian, buys a strange bottle from a sad, elderly gentleman who credits the bottle with his fortune. He promises that an imp residing in the bottle will also grant Keawe his every desire.

Of course, there is a catch — the bottle must be sold at a loss, i.e. for less than its owner originally paid, or else it will simply return to him. The currency used in the transaction must also be in coin (not paper money or a bank cheque/check). The bottle may not be thrown or given away. All of these commands must be transmitted from each seller to each purchaser. If an owner of the bottle dies without having sold it in the prescribed manner, that person's soul will burn for eternity in Hell.

The bottle was said to have been brought to Earth by the Devil and first purchased by Prester John for millions; it was owned by Napoleon and Captain James Cook and accounted for their great successes. By the time of the story the price has diminished to fifty dollars.

Keawe buys the bottle and instantly wishes his money to be refunded, to convince himself he has not been suckered. When his pockets fill with coins, he realizes the bottle does indeed have unholy power. He finds he cannot abandon it or sell it for a profit, so he wishes for his heart's desire: a big, fancy mansion on a landed estate. Upon his return to Hawaii, Keawe's wish has been granted, but at a price: his beloved uncle and cousins have been killed in a boating accident, leaving Keawe sole heir to his uncle's fortune. Keawe is horrified, but uses the money to build his house. After explaining the risks, he sells the bottle to a friend.

Keawe lives a happy life, but there is something missing. Walking along the beach one night, he meets a beautiful woman, Kokua. They soon fall in love and become engaged. Keawe's happiness is shattered on the night of his betrothal, when he discovers that he has contracted the then-incurable disease of leprosy. He must give up his house and wife, and live in Kalaupapa—a remote community for lepers—unless he can recover the bottle and use it to cure himself.

Keawe begins this quest by attempting to track down the friend to whom he sold the bottle, but the friend has become suddenly wealthy and left Hawaii. Keawe traces the path of the bottle through many buyers and eventually finds a Haole of Beritania Street, Honolulu. The man of European ancestry has both good and bad news for Keawe: (a) he owns the bottle and is very willing to sell, but (b) he had only paid two cents for it. Therefore, if Keawe buys it, he will not be able to resell it.

Keawe decides to buy the bottle anyway, for the price of one cent, and indeed cures himself. Now, however, he is understandably despondent: how can he possibly enjoy life, knowing his doom? His wife mistakes his depression for regret at their marriage, and asks for a divorce. Keawe confesses to her his secret.

His wife suggests they sail, with the bottle, to Tahiti; on that archipelago the colonists of French Polynesia use centimes, a coin worth one-fifth of an American cent. This offers a potential recourse for Keawe.

When they arrive, however, the suspicious natives will not touch the cursed bottle. Kokua determines to make a supreme sacrifice to save her husband from his fate. Since, however, she knows he would never sell the bottle to her knowingly, Kokua is forced to bribe an old sailor to buy the bottle for four centimes, with the understanding that she will secretly buy it back for three. Now Keawe is happy, but she carries the curse.

Keawe discovers what his wife has done, and resolves to sacrifice himself for her in the same manner. He arranges for a brutish boatswain to buy the bottle for two centimes, promising he will buy it back for one, thus sealing his doom. However, the drunken sailor refuses to part with it, and is unafraid of the prospect of Hell. "I reckon I'm going anyway," he says.

Keawe returns to his wife, both of them free from the curse, and the reader is encouraged to believe that they live happily ever after.
